This week you will have list 6-7 vocabulary due. We will finish reading and you will be writing your essay based on the book La Historia de la hoja de Papel.

You will be turning in your rough drafts for your brochure this Thursday! I will be posting the website to use to create the final product. The final version will not be due until 13th of January via email or placed on the portal. NO PRINT OUTS!!!!

Here is the link to the website you will be using to create the brochure. You will have to "SHARE" with me once you have completed the brochure. There is NO PRINTING!!!! You will have to save it as you work on it until it is done. Choose the format you prefer. Your due date is the 13th of January at 1159 pm that is when the email must be turned in to me. Have it done earlier, there is always a problem with computers at the end.

EXTRA CREDIT: If you attend the winter band or chorus or guitar show you will receive extra credit. You must bring your ticket signed by a faculty member or administrator with your name and show me a selfie of you at the concert.
If you are participating bring a copy of the program to receive it.

This week we will continue to read La historia de la hoja de papel. List 5 is due this week and you will have a vocabulary test. We will continue to take notes on our graphic organizer for you to be able to use for the essay based on the
story. This week we will continue to prepare for Mercado. Passports are due and you will be given class time this Monday and Tuesday to work on your banners in class. Please bring the necessary materials you will need such as markers!!! I will provide you with paper for the banners.
We will continue the notes on the past tense this week and prepare to practice towards the end of the week and all next week. the 17th -19th we will be working on our essay after finishing the reading so bring your notes to class. Further instructions will be given on the essay.

We will continue to work on the rough draft of the brochure this week. the date is on the board which day to bring in the necessary research. Most of you need more information than what you brought to class. I will let you view the rubric again so you make sure you are aware of what is expected for the final pamphlet. The final version will be done once we return from break. I will place the website for you here so you have the link. I will also place it on the portal where you will need to place your final product.
This week we will also continue to read with the beginning chapters of Daniel Torres. You will have an in class assignment with the story until chapter 3. We will continue to read this week and the next. You will be given time in class to work on your banners for Mercado and to finalize what you are bringing. Bring the necessary supplies to work on your banners on Tuesday! It will be the only class to work on the banner. Passports are due this week!!
