Hola clase,

This week we will be wrapping up the Men who changed History.  We will also be doing culturally relevant activities this week. Please bring scissors and coloring supplies since we do not have a class set.  I will provide the other supplies you will need.

All classes will have the page 4 repaso vocabulario test on the 30/31 of October as soon as you walk into class.  You are responsible to make sure the words you have are correct.  I have already put them on the quizlet it is your responsibility to write them down.  

Make ups for drills are Mondays ONLY!!!

I have placed the links to the videos we watched in class below.  Please review them and take notes especially if you were not in class.  These will be on the next quarter exam and you will be tested on the information soon after we are done with the subject.  We will be getting ready to end our culture lessons of October.  Be ready, next week we will partake in a celebration and we will be doing some traditional Hispanic activities.  
This week we will begin working with comparisons as our grammar topic.  You will have powerpoints and notes as well as homework related to the new topic.

This week we will start working on the travel vocabulary and finish with the coronation of Felipe VI.  Next week we will continue working with the new vocabulary.  Be prepared for a

This week we will continue working with the future tense and continue reading the coronation of Felipe IV.  We will watch a video as well in order for you to have a better understanding of what happened in the article.  You will be writing in class a summary of what occurred in the reading and the news clips.  On Friday you will have a reading assignment as well in which you will answer the questions provided in Spanish.  Remember to use the techniques you have been taught since last year to help you with the reading.

Your 9 week exam is scheduled for the 21st be ready!!!  Also you have a drill on the future tense this week.  Be ready for that as well.  Regular and irregular future will be on the drill.

This week is your 9 week exam.  I hope you have been studying.  Extra credit is due by the 22nd for this quarter.  This week we will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage with readings which contributed to Día de la Raza.  Remember to use the techniques taught in class as you read in order for you not to feel so overwhelmed.  We will continue to work on the present progressive.  There will not be a drill for this grammar topic but you are still responsible for it for the 9 week exams.
