This week you will have a drill on tener and its uses. We will begin the review of regular present tense verbs before moving to stem changing verbs. We will be reading another story this week and your first vocabulary list will come from their. Remember your portal HW is due on September 1st. I will be placing other HW for the following weeks on there as well. Please check the portal for due dates for turn in.

We will be finishing with el Sueño de Otto this week. Please review what you have so far and read ahead so you can participate in the discussions. We will begin with our new grammar concept: present perfect. This week you will have drills on present progressive. Be ready. Your hw is on the portal, check it for due dates. I will be placing some sites for you to use to review the grammar below.

This week you will be reviewing adjectives and present tense verbs. We have already read our first story and looked for the adjectives as well as the verbs in the present tense. We will practice those this week as well before moving on to your first oral presentation. I am placing quizlets on here for you to practice and other games/activities. You will have a test this week as a review of all you have learned already in SO6/SO7. You should be able to pass with an 80%. It will review colors, school vocabulary, question words, etc. This week will also be your first drill. We will be working on adjectives for the first drill and you may have a homework assignment especially if we do not finish in class. You will need to copy and paste the links if they do not hyper link.

This week we will continue with chapters 3-5. You are responsible for arriving to class already having read those chapters. We will begin our first grammar topic: present perfect notes. We have reviewed present progressive so expect a drill or quiz on this topic. Also you will have a review test of all you "should" know up to this point in high school level 2. Everyone should be able to master an 80% or above. I am expecting 98-100% from all of you amazing individuals. If you need to review, use the posts from last year under the archive section and do the games to review.

Bienvenidos al nuevo año escolar 2014
